Who are we?
We are ToClear.com and we trade on eBay as 'a.bargain' With 25 Years experience as a Photographic Retailer. ToClear.com was Established in September 2001 to expand our High Street business onto the internet. We are Authorised stockists for Nikon cameras and Lenses, Sigma Lenses and filters, Opticron (including Oregon), Tasco, Visionary and Nikon Binoculars, Hama Accessories. We are also a Fuji Approved Digital Camera Center

Where do we get our eBaY items?
We buy new stock in bulk, clear entire end-of-line products and clear shops that are closing down. We are also an official outlet for refurbished and digital camera returns stock. We offer to buy and part exchange items at our Letchworth Store.
What about Guarantees and Returns?
We ask all buyers of all auctions to read auction item descriptions carefully before buying for item specific warranty information.

During checkout you ask for my telephone number. Why do you do this?
This is an optional request - you do not have to provide your telephone number. We send high value and bulky goods via Interlink, the driver can attempt to call you if you are not there to sign for the delivery if you have provided your contact information.

Are all your new products UK Specification and Warranty?
Yes! Everything we sell (new and refurbished) is to UK specification and is covered by a UK warranty. - There are many sellers who sell illegally import, often from Indonesia and Hong Kong - warranty is not valid here and equipment may not operate correctly with UK power and PAL TV's etc. These sellers often sell fake items too as well as try to avoid VAT, Import Duties and the small surcharge added by the official importers that fund the UK warranty servicing. Whilst this may appear to save the buyer money, it very often leads to expensive problems including unrepairable / incompatable products, Customs Tax demands and excessive postage charges.
What about delivery? Aren't internet sellers notoriously slow?
We aim to dispatch all items as soon as payment clears. Payment by NoChex, PayPal, Credit / Debit Card, Travellers Cheques and Postal Orders are considered cleared on receipt. A glance at our eBaY feedback will tell you just how fast we are!
We use Royal Mail, Recorded Delivery and Interlink Express for higher value and heavier items (see item listing for costs). We have had problems with the Royal Mail service caused primarily by brance closures and have solved these by switching to Interlink Express. We appolagise to all customers inconvenienced by delays caused by the closure of the Letchworth Main Post Office during December 2006. Where sale made via eBaY, some Sellers demand FeedBack. Do you?
No. We never demand feedback, we accept what we are given, provided it is justified! We do leave buyers feedback - (it's automated after arrival of yours) manually if you don't - however, we are often weeks behind as our priorities have always been getting the goods out and special offers listed. We do leave Negative FeedBack for Non-Payers. (Have left over 100 Negatives to date!) Please only bid or buy our products if you intend to pay for it. We are unable to recover all of our eBaY Fees from non-payers 'sales' and, as this is our livelyhood, get grumpy if there isn't a good reason for non-payment.
What happened to Photo Finish of Letchworth?
Photo Finish is still trading as a Kodak Express Photo Lab in the Broadway Letchworth. ToClear.com no longer manage and is not responsible for this business.
However we can highly reccommend it as a destination for high quality photo printing services, digital services, passport photographs, good stocks of Fuji and Kodak film, canvas prints and large posters. They carry a large stock of high quality phot albums and frames as welll as a good range of photographic accessories including a comprehensive range of Herma products.
